She claimed to be 33 years old and gave conflicting information about her location — at times saying she was based in Lagos, Nigeria, and at other times giving a U.S. address: 350 Everly Ave., Brandon, Iowa 52210.
After establishing an emotional or romantic connection, she began requesting financial help — consistent with advance-fee romance scams. Requests often involved emergencies or travel-related needs. These tactics are widely used to manipulate trust and extract money from victims.
