Stated they were a crypto educator/ investor and also in US Army. Sent multiple pictures of various settings. Stated that they were due to be deployed to Afghanistan in December. Was seen as legitimate but then started asking for money as they had recently brought a home and all of their money had been put towards that. Their mother was in and out of hospital due to cancer and their 15 year old son was being cared for by a live in nanny. Had one video call which looked like the person and there were phone calls a few times. Got suspicious as things were not sounding right. Checked Facebook profile and they had a lot of Nigerian references. Asked them about this and they denied that they were not who they said they were. Stopped contact with them.
